Want to be hip? Grab an old school looking instant Polaroid 300 camera.
Old school is the new cool, or at least that’s what Polaroid wants us to think. It released its US$90 instant film camera which uses film that’s sold at US$10 for 10 shots. Being cool doesn’t come cheap.
Polaroid 300 has 4 film settings that include a flash. The instant camera is powered by AA batteries.
The Polaroid 300 will be released in May.
The Summit Global Group is now the owners of the Polaroid brand. It has partnered with arts institution, Aperture Foundation.
If you’re really into Polaroid films another alternative instant camera to chose from is the Fuji Instax Mini which creates instant credit card-sized photographs. The Fuji instant camera is a 5inch by 2.5 inch ins size and sells for US$70.

Have just ordered one so I can’t comment yet on how good the camera is but anyone who used a Polaroid years ago will tell you that it’s an experience that a digital camera can just not match, in terms of seeing results and satisfaction you get for taking a great photo.
Pick mine up from Shop as they are the only place selling the PIC 300 so far, http://www.shop.co.uk/products/electronics/cameras/instant-cameras/
Will be great fun to play with and introduce my kids to the world of Polaroid. Lets hope for a full size version soon.
