Pentax has just released the Optio H90, a compact and lightweight digital camera developed under Pentax’s new functional beauty concept. As suggested, the H90 comes with a user-friendly design and a full range of solid features to accommodate all shooting needs.
To answer functional design, the H90 uses straight lines and easy-to-push round control buttons efficiently positioned for easy access. To answer beauty, a high-quality aluminum alloy is used for the camera’s upper front section, while the entire lens barrel is coated with matte black paint and the grip is shaped for a firm, comfortable hold.
The H90 features a wide-to-telephoto 5x optical zoom lens which can answer to a variety of subjects and scenes, 12.1 effective megapixels which can assure high-quality prints, a large LCD screen which makes viewing a breeze, automatic Face Detection and Smile Capture which promises effortless snapshots, and the Blink Detection function that warns the photographer when the subject’s eyes close at the time of shutter release.
