Panasonic released several cameras this week including a new touch screen digital camera; the Lumix DMC-FX700. It has 14.1 megapixels and a 5x zoom lens. The Leica lens equivalent is 24-120mm and has a semi-fast aperture range of F2.2-5.9.
According to Panasonic “To realize a high speed and accurate image processing, both the image sensor and the image processing LSI is re-engineered. The new 14.1-megapixel MOS sensor achieves high speed consecutive shooting and full HD movie recording with high resolution and high sensitivity. ”
Other features of the Lumix FX700 is the full HD movie at 1920×1080p; recording in AVCHD at 30 frames per second at up to 17mbps. Oh it record on stereo as well. It also has a full-resolution burst mode at 10 framers per second for up and can shoot up to 15 images. It also features a low-light option for reduced blur and noise.
It’s pretty packed with camera features on a 4.1 inch by 2.2 inch slim, body.
If you like the features and you’re a fan of Panasonic cameras prepare to shell out US$400 for it, available this August.
