Panasonic has just released the Lumix DMC-TZ8, the successor to the popular Lumix DMC-TZ6. The TZ8 features a LEICA DC VARIO ELMAR 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens with a 12x optical zoom, offering consumers the perfect travel companion.
Following on the success of the TZ6, the TZ8 offers a wider range of exposure modes to cater to step up users. These include aperture priority, shutter priority, and full manual control. Each of these modes can be quickly set by the mode dial on the top of the camera unit.
The Venus Engine VI image processing engine offers fast response times. It has been re-engineered to compliment the new Intelligent Resolution image processing technology which enables the recording of beautiful photos and high-definition movies with higher quality signal processing.
The TZ8 is available from mid March this year, and will be available in either black or silver.
