Panasonic released the Lumix DMC-FZ100, a super zoom camera equipped with Full HD AVCHD video recording.
The Lumix DMC-FZ100 is a ‘bridge camera’ that closes in on the gap of compact camera and digital SLRs.
The Leica lens has 24x zoom with a 25mm-600mm equivalent.
It has 14.1 megapixel CMOS sensor and has a 3.0 inch LCD display.
The FZ100 is said to be the industry’s fastest full resolution burst shooting using a mechanical shutter at 11 fps. .
The FZ100 can also capture video and at full 1080p/60i resolution as well. What’s good about the way this has been implemented here is that they’ve also backed up the headline stats with some very basic editing software, allowing you to top and tail footage in-camera as well as the fact that you can record in the highly compatible AVCHD. The video recording also comes with a stereo mic.

One of the best cam ever made by panasonic.
Now who want to have a bulky DSLR when you are getting all the features with 600 mm lens in nearly just 1/4th price (DSLR + 600 mm lens).
I am curious to have it in my hands.
