Earlier we reported that Cisco is closing down the Flip camcorder line. Yeah, it was quite surprising for us to hear it too considering its a pretty popular camera and
Cisco bought it a few years back for quite a sum.
Anyway Fiip camcorders owners have more bad news to face as news of FlipShare will be closed. All those Flip camcorder users who uploaded clips to FlipShare beginning May 12th till present will have 30 days to back up their files because Cisco will erase these files.
The FlipShare service will continue for 2 years but Cisco perhaps really just wants its users to move and go to another social video uploading site.
