The gadget geeks (a respectable title) and professional camera bloggers have agreed in dubbing the Nikon D7000 as the most advanced camera, at any price range. Some reviews have even stated that the Nikon D7000 is the best DSLR to come out today.
So Nikon had some crappy releases in the past years. The D3000 was to our review a bit of a failure. The Nikon D7000 shows that Nikon did their homework and that this particular camera is well thought of technically, ergonomically and artistically.
The Nikon D7000 boasts of the highest linear resolution among all Nikon DSLR cameras. It also has the best resolution among Nikon cameras under $7500. The same goes for technical performance. The Nikon D7000 also has smartest handle amongst Nikon cameras under US$5000.
One criticism about the Nikon D7000 and a question for Nikon is in spite the D7000 having commendable image quality the viewfinder of the D7000 is still not as large as the FX cameras. If you are an avid photographer you would appreciate a camera’s view finder while shooting all day.
So while some people like FX cameras we think that serious hobbyist and full time pros can use the Nikon D7000 as their go-to-cameras.
Holding the Nikon D7000 just feels right. It feels faster, has lighter weight and is more quiet and refined.
Nikon D7000 sells for £1,285.99.
