Robert Capa
The most accomplished war photojournalist of all time. He documented the Spanish Civil War, Indochina War, the Second Sino-Japanese War, World War II and the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
Robert Frank
A Swedish born photographer who is known for his American photography. ‘The Americans’ published in 1958 is his most recognized work. He captured the post-war period.
Henri Cartier-Bresson
A French photojournalist and is referred as the father of photojournalism. His documentation of the Chinese Civil War and Ghandi’s funeral captures his true mastery.
Josef Koudelka
He is praised for being able to capture the human spirit inspire grim circumstance.
His sense of framing a subject and well balanced composition is stuff of legends.
Luc Delahaye
He is a French photographer of this generation. He used color in his work instead of the traditional black and white. He has traveled to Riwanda, Lebanon and Chechnya.
